The Windows SDK is a software development tool from Spellex that developers can use to integrate a full-function spell checker into their Windows-based applications. It includes a 115,000 word American English dictionary, a 120,000 UK English dictionary, and 16 and 32 bit DLLs. The Spellex DLLs are flexible enough to spell check in a variety of formats including words, text strings, and the contents of standard text boxes, rich-text boxes, edit controls, and rich edit controls. This software tool enables developers to easily modify our interface or use our examples to integrate our distinct spelling engine with their application.

The Windows SDK DLLs' include built-in dialog boxes which the user interacts with to detect and correct misspelled words. Windows applications can also use the Spellex API to check spelling and look up suggested replacements for misspelled words directly.
